Sony Xperia Z5+ tipped for March with 5.7-inch QHD screen, SD-820 and 4GB RAM?

Today, tipster Leaksfly posted a new rumor about a phone called the Sony Xperia Z5+. According to the source, the phone will come with a bezel-less 5.7-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 515ppi. Driving the phone will be the Snapdragon 820 SoC, which might explain why this model is not expected to be available until next March.
The rest of the rumored specs include 4GB of RAM inside, with 32GB of native storage. A 20.7MP camera is on back while an 8MP snapper graces the front of the device, ready to snap selfies and handle video chats. A fingerprint scanner is expected to be on board. We would imagine that the phone will carry an IP certification against dust and water.
With all due respect to Leaksfly, as usual we suggest taking this rumor with a grain of salt.

Don't worry. Sony will find a way to screw something up.

They've already screwed it up if the 5.7" is real.

It will probably be the same Sony sensor that the new Motor X Style uses and it has already gotten second best place as a cameraphone behind the S6 according to Dxo mark.

Actually Z3+ has the second best camera if you check out the combined 'photo' score on DXO. Moto did better in video and came out ahead on 'combined' video & photo score. Of course, a better sensor is always welcome. But my point is Sony's IMX220 is still a top performer & with SW tweaks, it could get even better.

No need to take it with grain of salt, SD820 will be coming before March 2016 for sure, or else there won't be any new SOC for all flagships which will launch in MWC. And Sony's 6 month upgrade would be due somewhere around that time. It's a news if someone says SD 820 is coming this year.

The LG G Flex 3 is getting a March 2016 release, so it does seem like the 820 might not be ready this year. If it was why didn't Motorola or Sony wait for it? Moto opted for 808 for its September release Moto X style phone while Z5 is going for 810 again.

Somehow Mid-range phones from Sony sounds much more interesting than their Flagship phones. Maybe now is not a good time to be a SonyMobile customer, but i think it wasn't too bad because I could save my money to buy Sony RX10M2 and Sony Android powered 4K TV. Don't worry SonyMobile i'll be back after you get your s**** together :)

2016 competition might be tight not like 2015..where sd 810 hv crippled most android OEMS leaving competition solely to Samsungs advantage. .if 820 doesn't experience issues.. ,brings ultra sonic fingerprint, wireless charging over metal ..then the only competing factor for Samsung is to bring 4k display on board, a blazing fast Sip (cpu).. greater than great design , excellent camera ..for it to convince loyal consumers as other Oems will almost produce equal features. .
