So, today, we got to see what is allegedly the
first sneak peek of what the
LG G6 is going to look like. Initially leaked by The Verge, the image is an alleged press render of the G6, showing a device with impressively small bezels. Despite the fact that we don't see its bottom, the source did say that the phone's “chin” is only a little bit bigger than the “forehead” and that the overall screen-to-body ratio is above the 90% threshold.
But, we also see that the phone is moving further away from the style that LG had in pre-
G5 times and becoming a bit more... mainstream with its looks. Even the modular design, which the company only dipped its toes in with the G5, has now, reportedly,
been dropped. It seems like the G6 will be more of a run-of-the-mill device, which will try to wow us with being a really good smartphone, without risking it with too many bells and whistles.
But we are getting ahead of ourselves here. For now, what we do have for sure is this render. So, what do you think about it?
