So, how do you find that Red iPhone 7?

Today, Apple silently launched a new iPad, and also started offering the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus duo in a flaming red color. The latter is a part of the Product Red campaign — a part of the profits go towards AIDS relief efforts. This pretty much means that the iPhone 7 brought 3 new colors to the iPhone line — Black, Jet Black, and now Red.

You can only get the red color if you opt for a 128 GB or 256 GB storage tier of your chosen device — just like Jet Black, Apple is treating this as a more “premium” finish. The handset has a silver Apple logo on its back and a white front — a color combination that will surely make some pull at their hair. Why not a black front, Apple? Why?

That said, there's nothing else that's different about the phone. Besides the choice of storage options being limited, you still pay the same amount as you would for any other color iPhone 7 / 7 Plus of the same storage tier. That said, how do you feel about the iPhone's new set of clothes?

So, how about those red iPhones?

Take my money!
I wish it had a black front...
Blargh... no

I voted take my money but I have no interest in buying one. The color is stunning, but I love the size of my SE so I'm good.

They should have added an option. "Going to buy a case anyway". So I don't care what color my iPhone really is. Especially if you want to resell your iPhones. If you want the best resale or trade in values, then it helps to keep them pristine. So at the end of the day most people use cases anyway.

I doubt those who purchase this Red iPhone particularly for it's color would want a case on it, as it'll mask the Red color which made them get this Red iPhone in the first place.

Most who buy this will probably put a clear skin on the back for protection. Or buy a thin clear case, like the power support Air jacket.

Oh, you've got a good point. A transparent case will be suitable, as it'll protect the RED iPhone without masking it's red color which is supposedly sending a message or whatever it means.

The only thing I like about it is that it's part of the Product Red campaign. Kudos to Apple for being involved in such a noble cause.

Techie thinks Product Red is a scam and is just some dirty "money laundering" scheme for Apple Beyond propstrerous lol..

Thats cause Techie is an idiotic Apple hating troll. He has to say something negative about Apple every day or he will go crazy. So I guess if we go by his logic, many other big name companies are in on this "scam", like nike, starbucks, Converse, GAP, Armani, American Express, Coca Cola, EA, and several others. If samsung joined it then he would praise them for it and how they are helping to fight AIDS. Again, he's nothing more than an immature troll.

First off i based my opinion on info tbat can be founf on wikipedia, and facts that i know from sources here. Because a company i did work for, did a fundraiser with them and lets say the relationship is very tainted. I also use Bill Gates as an example. Bill Gates on their Foundation website is very transparent about the money he has spent to help children in other countrys. Product Red doesnt do this. Nkr are they required too. But what i would say if your intentions are to actually help people, then why hide when a single man is very transparent. This is my choice I donate monate to lots of charities. I pick ones who are open and allow me to see what is being done with the money. Just like i only buy products where it seems whwn i put money in, i get somethong out. Which is why i rarely buy Apple products. They have all this money and do nothing useful or amazing. Yet Samsung is too aggressive anf yet you can see thry have high overhewd because they are willing to push an envelop. We have Childrems Hospitals lile Shriners in Chicago, who with serious defects. They donit all with donations. They are 100% transparent of how the money is spent on special doctors and medicnes studies and equipment. I feel good knowing tgat my money is beinf used for what it is said its being used for. Product Red is like a church to me. Collecting money and just benefiting themselves more. I never said they dont help anyone. I simply dont like them being secret about it and that is my choice. The problem with fools like you all, iz tou have no respect for people who see things different than you. Its like fools who get mad because you believe in God and tbey dont. And they think you are crazy because they dont think the way they you do. After all let me ask you this, dont scams exist in all forms of business and are made to lool legit? Read Baush amd Lomb scammimg their customers. Banks, car companys an more I dont have to trust any greedy corporation, especially those that prey on the sympathy of others.

I agree. The red goes well with the white front too. And I usually am not a fan of anything but black for the front of a phone.

I think "any" phone would look great in that color.

I think what you say is irrelevant.

Nice deflection! Denial, deflect and apologize. The three things that an Apple fanboy will commonly include in their posts....
