Samsung unveils a suite of accessories for the Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 enjoys the glory of being the slimmest tablet out there, but now it matches it with an impressive selection of accessories. You can get a keyboard dock turning your tablet into a full-fledged typing machine for $70, while the multimedia dock costs $35 and works as an HDMI pass-through, allowing you to connect the tablet to your HD TV. In order to do that however, you'll need the HDMI adapter for the Tab 10.1 sold for $40. Finally, you can extend the functionality of the 10-inch slate by pairing it with a USB adapter priced at $20, so you can use the Galaxy Tab 10.1 as a host device for connecting USB-enabled keyobards, mice and other accessories.

That precious Samsung-made tablet might require some additional protection and that's where the Book Cover Case for $60 comes handy. Its versatile design also allows you to place the tablet upright or lay it down to use the keyboard. Finally, a simple Protective Leather Pouch for $30 encases the tablet in soft leather. Check out the accessories at the link to the Samsung Store below.

It doesn't come with the HDMI adapter? I'd rather wait for a tablet that has ALL the features I want. It doesn't make any sense to carry around adapters, let alone PAY for them when the device isn't affordable in the first place. They made it thin, but it doesn't have the hardware you want. Thinner is better if it has everything. This doesn't have everything.

If I wanted a tablet that I need to buy endless accessories for, I'd go for the iPad2 and not this..

Can anyone add anything to their cart and successfully buy it?

I have the Galaxy Tab and really enjoy having it. I think it is a very good unit. If someone came out with a tablet that has everything you couldn't afford it. We have become a nation that wants the best of everything but just Bit*h Bit*h Bit*h when we are expected to pay a reasonable price for something. Then we whine because there are so few good paying jobs in our country. If we continue to create a Wal-Mart priced economy we can only expect Wal-Mart type employment. So there.
