Samsung lets out a new Galaxy S6 teaser - touts a metal-made flagship coming!
After revving people up with a peek at the Galaxy S6's performance and camera capabilities, Samsung has fed the masses another teaser video. This time, it is focused on design. It says that #TheNextGalaxy is made of "all the beautiful things" around it. Sugar, spice, and everything nice? Nah - more like shiny metal and pristine glass!

Following the almost poetic intro, Samsung quickly shows us a couple of frames depicting the Galaxy S6's undoubtedly metal side frame! Gosh, can you see how thin that thing is? This year, it is premium or nothing for Samsung. We definitely like what we're seeing thus far!

The #NextGalaxy, and quite possibly - the #NextGalaxyEdge - will be revealed March 1st at MWC in Barcelona. It's going to be a great ride, ladies and gentlemen. See you there!

"metal side frames" surrounded by plastic front and rear

Perfect, if that means removable battery. That's the configuration of my Note 4, and it's top of its segment. I don't want an aluminum unibody interfering with antenna signals.

The note 4 looks beautiful and elegant. if it looks anything like it or better, no complaints on the looks department.

Thinking like that "I don't want an aluminum unibody interfering with antenna signals." is so 2010. #7

It's not, unless you want ugly plastic antenna inserts.

If it really come up with 2600mAh sealed battery many power user most probably will not choose this phone. NO matter how efficient the display, processor is and how good samsung is at optimizing the software, 2600mAh is too small for a 5 inch flagship device. 2600 mAh will probably give the same battery life of S5 or ever slightly better battery life. Let see how much they mAh they put in their flagship.

Mate the 810 is a battery hog so it will, mean nothing, it all down to how long it Ask over the size of the battery and Samsung always lasted most over specs and battery size in one package

The S6 will not have an SD810 within. It will have one of Samsung's exynos 7420.

The S4 has a 2600mAh battery and it barely lasts a day with light usage. Good luck S6.

Trolls are omnipresent. I had the S4 and could do 2 days with light usage and music playing about 20% of the time.

HTC One has no antena problems. Thats what the plastic strips are for.

Galaxy Alpha still feels better in a hand. Plastic back with metal frame would be an ideal choice.

Maybe not "problems" but my M8 hasn't ever been as strong as my S4 and it requires 4 times the SAR radiation to achieve even that. Plus I find well designed plastic, kevlar, or other materials more resilient, lighter and ideal than metal. Metal is great in the underlying structure to provide rigidity but I don't care to feel cold metal and I'm not putting a case on it. I love the M8 design, it just doesn't have to be metal for me, I'd prefer the Turbo materials on it, something with a little texture and grip, that doesn't scratch as easily and self heals instead of getting beat up and having metal burrs sticking out into your hand. (And if anyone says "put a case on it" then all that talk about premium materials is pointless and you can just make an ugly cheap phone and put the same case on it and it will look the same as it would have)

Realllly don't want all metal. Note 4 does have it best with a baby smooth faux leather rear and metal sides. This is the best of both worlds. Warm to touch and so soft. Too bad S6 is all metal. Hopefully Note 5 will be like the Note 4 in build materials.

Trollers gonna troll. Nice to see haters are the first to comment. It proves nothing but your desperation, jealousy and how shallow you're are.

Thought there phones had glass fronts? I'm pretty sure the Note has one of the most solid builds of 2014 (I'm an iPhone 6 plus user). It also has "metal side frames". It's the "metal side frames" that give the phone its solid feel.... Pretty sure the S6 will feel just as solid as any other device on the market, except to those that are living in the fantasy that one piece of plastic makes a device cheap or feel cheap.... Nokia devices (other than Icon and later devices) ALL PLASTIC, more solid than any devices that I have used. Plastic does not = Cheap or Bad.

As far as I know, the Samsung Galaxy S line's front is always entirely covered by glass.

How can the front be plastic?

Assuming that's the rear profile of the S6, it looks completely different to all of the leaked images & renders. It looks like Samsung may just have a few surprises up their sleeve for March 1st. Well done so Samsung if they have managed to keep their new design secret. It would be nice to be awestruck with the final launch device, instead of feeling deflated and let down.

They always do. Even last year GS5 only leaked on the day (or a day before) which just goes to show they are extremely good at keeping it under wraps. All the 'leaks' we see here with regards to design are mostly fake and are just based on the dimesions given to mobile case manufacturers. Samsung is the new Apple when it comes to keeping secrets.

Wait. That design at the end means all the leaked renders were useless and wrong by far. That's surprising. My only wish is that it doesn't use a glass back. Plastic, metal, Kevlar, carbon fibre or basically anything but glass.

Who cares if you're next Galaxy?? Plastic Toys in Metal Frames.

Those toys pack the highest of technology and built like a tank. Wait till your metal phone ding and scratch.
