Samsung Gear Fit Pro and Gear POP may be unveiled at Tizen Developer event

The Tizen Developer conference is set to kick off on May 16 in San Francisco, California, and Samsung is expected to unveil a couple of new products powered by its operating system.

One of these products is likely to be the Gear Fit Pro, a fitness tracker that we've already heard about earlier this year when Samsung trademarked the name. Unfortunately, not much is known about the upcoming Tizen wearable device.

Rumor has it that the Gear Fit Pro will be strongly linked to the Simband health platform that Samsung launched a couple of years ago, which should offer users health tracking via the cloud.

The next Tizen wearable device that we might see being unveiled next week in San Francisco is called Samsung Gear POP. It's also known under model number SM-R600, but aside from that piece of information, no other details are available at the moment.

File the information under rumors since we don't have any clear evidence that Samsung will be announcing the Gear Fit Pro and Gear POP next week, even though it would make perfect sense to unveil these devices at the Tizen Developer conference.
