Samsung Galaxy Note Edge camera samples

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge camera samples
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is making the rounds in our office as we prepare to bring you a full in-depth review (see our Note Edge unboxing here), but since this is such an extraordinary device, with that distinct curved edge, we thought you'd be curious to see how it performs in one of the most important aspects of the smartphone experience - the camera.

What doubled our curiosity was the fact that on paper the Galaxy Note Edge camera looks identical to the shooter on the flagship Note 4: a 16-megapixel camera sensor with 16:9 aspect ratio, and an f/2.2 lens with 31mm focal length (in 35mm equivalent).

We took it out for a little walk and snapped away, seeing the familiar Samsung camera app (in the same form as it is on the Note 4), and our initial impressions are that the quality of the images is indeed similar to that of the Note 4. Stay tuned for a deeper analysis of the shots in our final review that's coming up soon, but now - feel free to take a look at the camera samples below.

It awesome if you're into washed out colors and over exposed pictures.

Not really washed out, but white balance is a bit off. I'd like to see some "lab" samples from gsmarena before I judge it.

Motorola, take a note how to make a decent camera in your phones (that currently suck).
