Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2018) camera details leak alongside key specs

There has been quite a bit of speculation surrounding the individual sensors – Samsung could easily just place four low-quality ones on the rear and reap the marketing benefits – but today some of the details have finally been revealed. From the looks of things, it seems the company will be including a main 24-megapixel camera on the rear panel. This will then be coupled with an 8-megapixel sensor complete with a super wide-angle lens of 120º field of view. Furthermore, and in a rather interesting move, two zoom cameras of 10 and 5-megapixels respectively also appear to be included. On a separate note, a 24-megapixel selfie camera will also be present up front.

In regards to other specifications, the smartphone will come equipped with a 6.28-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. Under the hood, despite previous mentions of the Snapdragon 710, it looks as though Samsung has ultimately settled for the Snapdragon 660. Presumably, this will then be coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and the choice of 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Regardless, a 3,720mAh battery will be included, as will Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box.

As can be seen in the concept image above, the Galaxy A9 Pro is set to adopt a Galaxy A7-like design, albeit with a rear fingerprint scanner. However, the design depicted is still based on rumors so it’s worth waiting for the official confirmation on the day of Samsung’s event.
