Samsung 8.0” full HD AMOLED tablet screen coming on time, 10.1” AMOLED display delayed
Samsung launched the first tablet with AMOLED screen, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 more than a year ago, and this year the company plans to launch a successor with an 8-inch full HD (1920 x 1200 pixel) screen, according to SamMobile’s sources. Previous rumors also speculated about the arrival of a 10.1-inch or 11.6-inch AMOLED display, but plans for those were delayed allegedly because of problems with making a high-res screen of that size.

Interestingly, Samsung is said to also bring a tablet that will match the extremely high 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution of the Nexus 10 (which is by the way made by Samsung also).

Expectations are for these devices to make an official appearance at IFA 2013 taking place from September 6th to 11th in Berlin.

However, since the alleged Galaxy Note III is also expected to appear around that time Samsung might move the tablet launches a bit to make space for its new phablet. This all sounds logical and true, but we should not forget that nothing is official just yet.
