Rose Gold Huawei Watch (plated with real 22K gold) now available to buy in the US
If you're looking to buy a gold-plated Android Wear watch, you don't really have many choices. However, as of today, Huawei is selling a Rose Gold Huawei Watch that has a 22K rose gold plated stainless steel case. Needless to say, this is significantly more expensive than regular Huawei Watch versions (which start at $349).

Right now, you can only get the Huawei Watch Rose Gold Stainless Steel with Brown Leather Strap, which costs $699. Huawei says that quantities are limited, so you should hurry if you want to purchase this particular version of the watch. A Huawei Watch Rose Gold Plated Stainless Steel with Rose Gold Plated Stainless Steel Link Band will also be available (sometime soon), costing $799.

Feature-wise, the Huawei Watch Rose Gold isn't different from the cheaper models of the device. It's running Android Wear (upgradeable to Marshmallow), offering a 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, and a 300 mAh battery. All Huawei Watch models are compatible with devices running Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 8.2 or later.

I am still waiting for them to sell the bracelets so I can replace my Steel mesh with the normal steel one.

The Huawei watch can use regular off the shelf bands from your local jeweler. Or you can buy a stainless steel mesh or Milanese band off Amazon for $20.

Huawei needs to slow down a bit with these premium prices. Remember that it wasn't too long ago they were nothing more than a budget brand selling low-end phones and that's what people still known them for. Apple gets away with this model because they have an extremely loyal and large fanbase camping out to buy the Apple Watch regardless of the high price. Huawei is still a relatively unknown brand compared to even the likes of Samsung.

That's only like that in your mind because you still think like that. Huawei is huge nowadays, and they get bigger day by day...

So what?! Is it only Apple who has the right to charge top dollar? And it's called evolution: from a cheap-selling brand to a premium one!! Fanbase will be gotten over time, and at least Huawei does not rip-off consumers, compared to the likes of the iRip-off company. *Sigh*

Nope..... While I think the watch is one of the best looking smartwatches, gold plated stuffs are overrated.
