The Google Play store knows many apps that claim to save battery and increase your device's performance using all kinds of exorbitant techniques. To help itself stand-out from the pack, Root Booster uses special settings to achieve its results. These settings can be easily applied with preset modes, depending on whether you're after a speed boost, battery boost or stability boost. The appropriate settings are then applied to main device components - CPU, RAM and the Android OS.

Root Booster can decide which CPU governor you should use, and automatically apply the most suitable one for the selected mode. A governor is a driver for the regulation of CPU frequency, deciding how fast and when the CPU will achieve maximum or minimum CPU frequency. Setting the right governor makes your device more power-efficient, faster, and stable.

Moreover, Root Booster can change the virtual memory heap size so each application uses the appropriate amount of VM heap for its data and work requirements. The main reason to change VM heap size is stability improvement. Bigger applications need bigger amounts of heap memory to work. Root Booster will test your RAM and setup your VM heap size for better stability and performance.

Finally, each Android application can have one or multiple services running in background, performing some kind of task. Some of them remain on even after the user turns an app off, which could cause noticeable battery drain and system resource loss. Root booster scans your services and disables the most battery draining and demanding ones to optimize your system.

Yes it works.I'm in possesion of a Motorola Moto G 2014 (2nd generation) and installed this app.With extreme performance my device scored in antutu 18,420.With extreme stability the same device scored 18,505.

Eh, I wouldn't bother unless my handset ran like crap. Most Android handsets these days, from the Z3 compact to the GS6 perform fantastic and on par or better than any iphone or WP8 phone. And I have owned or own the following. Z3 Compact Galaxy Alpha Z3 M9 GS6 They all perform great.

This is most definitely not for you It is for lower mid range and entry level devices that suffer

Not needed for high end devices. For low-end to mid-range, yeah it works, and all the other stuff like these. But there's always a downside to this, mainly battery life and heating concerns. No need to complicate things. If you have a lower to mid-range device and is suffering from poor performance, I suggest you try limiting background process to 2 processes at the most (instead of standard). The downside to this is multi-tasking will suffer. BUT You don't have enough RAM anyway. Will definitely improve overall performance.
