What is Reigns? Basically, it's a ruler simulator game with mechanics similar to Tinder. You take the role of a king, and, as any good (or bad) monarch out there, you are tasked with governing your realm. The crucifix represents the church, the human figure represents the people, the sword represents the military, and the dollar symbol represents the treasury. Your objective is to keep all of these factions in check, as completely filling or emptying a meter often results in a game over scenario. 

Prudent decisions and careful planning make for a long reign but unforeseen motivations, surprise events, and poor luck can take down even the most careful of monarchs. Death is certainly inescapable, as at one point, you'll be in a situation with too many balls to juggle at once, but it's always fun to try and last as long as you can.
