Polaroid isn’t the first name to come to mind when speaking about Android devices and tablets in particular, but the company wants to change that perception by bringing a powerful and very affordable no-compromise 7-inch tablet at CES 2013, the
Polaroid M7.
Just as
Acer’s Iconia B1, the Polaroid M7 undercuts the
Nexus 7 price and flaunts a starting price point of $129.
At the same time, it has a 7-inch 1,280 x 800 pixel display, a dual-core processor of unspecified kind, a 2-megapixel camera and expandable internal storage via microSD cards. The Polaroid M7 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that takes lag out of Ice Cream Sandwich, and overall at that price it definitely seems to hit all requirements on our wishlist and has everything it needs to sell to the masses.
Would you be interested in buying an affordable device like the Polaroid M7 for yourself or as a gift, or are you instead looking at pricier but better-specced alternatives?
