One of iOS’ finest photography apps, VSCO Cam, is now on Android

VSCO Cam, one of the best photo manipulation tools on iOS, has now finally arrived on Android with its plethora of artsy filters and the full-fledged iOS functionality including the possibility to buy filters (called "presets" here) and filter packs.

And indeed VSCO Cam is a photo filters app at its best and purest. While it does not feature any social features (instead it allows you to share images on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the rest), it comes with 10 built-in presets and 15 editing tools. The strength of VSCO Cam however really is in the additional presets that you can purchase. At launch you can get a discounted $5.99 bundle of all exquisitely crafted filters available for sale at less than half their original price. The app comes with an in-app purchase store where bundles like that are sold, or you can just get separate filters.

It’s worth underscoring that the app itself with the basic presets and editing options is free. We definitely recommend you check it out at the link and you can take a look at some VSCO Cam creations right below.

It's not the app, it's the person taking the picture that makes the shots great.
