Nubia Z9 and its razor-sharp bezels get pictured next to the iPhone 6
We've been hearing quite a bit about the upcoming ZTE nubia Z9 flagship – the device is toted as having a "stunning" design, with extraordinarily thin side bezels, and we've seen it showcased on one or two photos with questionable legitimacy. The handset is supposed to be the successor of the nubia Z7 and should be announced this March the 26th, and with less than 10 days left until the big announcement, it is only normal than some new pictures will start popping up.

So, these new pictures show us a handset that has a truly impressive screen-to-body ratio. Its side bezels are, indeed, razor-thin, while the top one is smaller than what we've seen on previous leaks. So, assuming this isn't fake, the pictures we saw before could have been of a prototype. The handset is showcased as having an aluminum unibody construction and there appears to be a fingerprint sensor on its back, just below the camera. It is also pictured next to an iPhone 6 and it looks like the nubia Z9 is just slightly thicker than the 0.27" (6.9 mm) thin Apple flagship.

As far as hardware goes – actual specs for the nubia Z9 haven't been leaked, however, ZTE, reportedly, confirmed that the nubia Z9 Max will have a 5.5" screen and will rock Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810. Looking back at the Z7 models – the Z7 Max is the slightly downgraded (despite its name) version of the standard Z7 flagship. If we are to believe that this year's ZTE handsets will follow the same ideology, we'd say that the SoC of the Z9 Max pretty much confirms that the nubia Z9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 as well. Of course, the handsets are also expected to sport Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
