Nokia updating its City Lens application, we're still waiting for the new Lumias to come out
City Lens for Windows Phone is an augmented reality application by Nokia, which can show you the destination and distance to certain points of interest of your choosing.
Thankfully, this isn't one of those services that are just launched and left to die without any following support, as Nokia has just pushed an update for the app, bringing its version number to 1.3.0.1666. Now, exactly what is new in this version seems to be a mystery so far, as the company hasn't bothered to explain. This makes us believe that all this update brings are some minor bug fixes.
When it comes to the big stuff coming from Nokia's camp, though, we're all pretty much waiting with bated breath for the company to finally launch its new Lumia smartphones, the 920 and 820. Although there still isn't an official release date, we know that Microsoft will officially celebrate the "release" of Windows Phone 8 on October 29, so we hope that the new Lumias, as well as the other Windows Phone 8 phones will follow soon afterwards.
