Nokia in talks with Microsoft about using Windows Phone 7?
According to Mobile-Review's Eldar Murtazin, Nokia is listening to its fans advice and is considering using another operating system. The software is none other than Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7. Talks were supposedly initiated by the new management at the Finnish based phone manufacturer. The new Nokia phones would be sold under the Nokia brand and would include some of the standard features found on most Nokia models.

Despite Nokia's apparent reliance on Symbian^3 and Meego, could it be that the new blood at the manufacturer has done a better job looking at  where Nokia's current OS stands in comparison to iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7? A new management team might be better prepared to be honest about what changes Nokia needs to reverse the current slide in market share.

Even long time Nokia users have been on the ball, hoping that the firm could take high-end hardware like the Nokia N8 and release it with a more user friendly OS like Android or Windows Phone 7. If this report does turn out to be true, it could open up a whole new customer base for Nokia.
