Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 tipped to launch in India on January 11th

According to a Nokia employee answering the Live Chat for Nokia Care, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 820 are coming to India on January 11th. That dovetails perfectly with an 11 second commercial that Nokia ran late last month in the country for the Nokia Lumia 920, saying that, "We’re bringing out the world’s most innovative smartphone ever, soon," although no date was given for the launch. The ad focuses on the 4.5 inch screen on the phone, the camera that takes pictures even in low light situations and the wireless charging capabilities of the camera.

As far as pricing goes, speculation centers on a price under RS 40,000 ($736 USD) for the high-end Nokia Lumia 920 model, which covers a lot of ground. Nokia is asking for a RS 2,000 ($36.81) deposit for those pre-ordering the phone. The much more affordableNokia Lumia 620 is supposed to launch in the fourth week of this month, according to Nokia Care.
