Back in February, we told you
to expect T-Mobile to launch the Nokia E73 in June. We probably should have purchased some lottery tickets that day. T-Mobile is planning on launching the Nokia E73 Mode, a portrait QWERTY device that features Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, and two different customizable homescreens-one for "work" and the other for "life". The handset resembles the E72 and according to the leaked screen shot of T-Mobile's internal communications, June 16th will be the date of launch. From the focus on the "work" and "life" homescreens, it appears that the nation's fourth largest carrier will promote the device as a smartphone for business and play. The former will focus on the phone's calendar and e-mail applications to stay connected to work. The latter turns your E73 Mode into a fun device with apps downloaded from the Ovi Store. Pricing remains a mystery and we would expect the Nokia E73 to get an overseas launch as it replaces the E72 around the globe.
