Nokia Astound seems to be T-Mo's version of the C7, comes on April 6 for $79.99
Symbian may be a "burning platform", but it seems there is still some life left in it, and tipsters at T-Mo News say the Nokia C7, which is said to be codenamed the Tiger, is to be released on April 6 as the Nokia Astound. T-Mobile is set to price this handset "around $79.99" after a mail-in-rebate.

There are more good news for the Nokia lovers in the US, as the same sources claim T-Mobile will offer "...around 4 more Nokia Symbian devices this year".

The Nokia Astound offers a 3.5-inch capacitive AMOLED screen with an nHD resolution, 8MP camera with dual LED flash and 8GB build-in storage. For more details you can read our Nokia C7 in-depth review here.

Then again, I wonder what the other 4 Symbian devices are... if I could get an N8, E7, or if they come out with the N9....

Other existing devices that could come in: N8, E7, C6, Which they could release. That only makes 3 (unles the 4 was including the C7) so there are going to be at least one more device - X7? I hope that maybe the E7 is done, and the X7, but that the other is something not released anywhere yet. There have been various rumours of dual core GHz processors, or optical zoom on a nokia phone sometime in the next year. Hopefully this is going to come, with PR3.0 out of the box (the new UI that's been pictured a few places).

Also please T-mobile, quit renaming stuff with dumb names.

I agree with the name thing... Nokia's been known for thier numeric phone names for a reason. Adding another name to it, while making it more memorable, messes that up. They could at least spell the names right... I have a Nuron, but when I was looking for info on it before it came out I never found anything because I was looking for the Neuron...
