Back in December, just before the turn of the year, we passed along a rumor about the LG G4. The speculation had LG including a stylus with its new LG G4 flagship phone to help it compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the S Pen. Recently, LG filed with the USPTO for a trademark covering the name G4 Stylus.
However, a published report on Sunday cites a source as saying that LG has decided against producing a stylus for the LG G4. On the other hand, LG is expected to produce a successor to the mid range LG G3 Stylus handset.
A document recently discovered reveals a model number LG-H631 which is also known as project P1S. This model is expected to feature a display with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Considering that the LG-H810 is believed to be the LG G4 for AT&T and is listed as P1, P1S could either be the LG G4 Stylus, or the LG G4s. The latter would be the sequel to the LG G3s which is considered a "mini" version of LG's flagship phone.

No stylus for LG G4, but there could be an LG G4 Stylus mid-range phone
