New update for Samsung's Game Launcher brings DeX support, feature currently not working
Samsung's Game Launcher application has recently received an interesting update. Coming in as version 2.2.01.4, the new patch brings a bunch of bug fixes and stability improvements, but most notably support for DeX - the docking station which lets you connect your Galaxy S8/S8+ to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for a desktop-like experience.
The idea of playing mobile games on a larger screen with the help of peripherals might cause some of you to instantly search for the latest APK file of the app, but unfortunately, one simply can't use the feature at the moment.

There is a “Supported by DeX” collection of games in Game Launcher and most of them can be launched from the dock, but the titles don't recognize any mouse or keyboard as a valid input device. This, in turn, leaves the user stranded on the menu screen, unable to perform any actions.
Hopefully, Samsung will come up with a patch to the patch and fix the issue in the near future. Until then, we're stuck with small screens and touch controls.
