New Motorola Moto G4 render shows the white version of the phone
Earlier today, we showed you a video that reportedly presented the Moto G4 - one of Motorola's upcoming smartphones which should be announced later this year alongside new Moto X and Moto E models. Unfortunately, now the video is private, so we can no longer see it. Even so, it appears that the device showcased in said video is indeed the Moto G4, and @evleaks (who is usually right when it comes to unannounced smartphones) seems to be confirming this with a new render of the handset.

This new render (included in the slideshow below) is showing a white Moto G4, which looks strikingly similar to the black variant of the phone that we had the chance to see in the aforementioned video, as well as in these previously leaked photos.

There's little info on the features of the Moto G4, but we can spot a fingerprint scanner below its display, a front-facing camera, and a rear camera with LED flash. Plus, of course, there's also a M(oto) logo on the back. It's said that Motorola will also release a Moto G4 Plus, which could be larger than the regular G4.

Since Motorola Mobility hasn't announced any new devices in months, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Moto G4 and G4 Plus (and maybe other handsets) being officially unveiled in the near future.

Absolutely one of the reasons I would want one, because everyone elses phones are the same as others'

Are you nuts? Do you know how many people are carrying Moto G/E and even Moto X? Plenty, I see them all the time. And if this render is true, with the right hardware (SD 435, 650, or even better 625), this is a DEFINTE buy for me in white

Lenovo is only responsible for the existence of Motorola. Moto e, e2,g2,g3,x2,nexus 6,x play, x style , moto turbo and x force is launched in lenovo's time. Motorola design there phones not lenovo. Even lenovo k4 note, vibe x3, vibe P1 and Vibe x3 lite is designed by Motorola.

Lenovo...what are you doing to such a great brand.

People keep forgetting that it is still the same design team from Motorola, just the CEO resigned and it is now a subsidiary of Lenovo Inc. In other words a separate division that just get branded with Lenovo. It could of been worse, they could of added Vibe UI.

Man this thing would have been beautiful if it didn't have that hideous fingerprint reader and mic hole. But slightly better news is that it looks like it's just going to be a fingerprint scanner and not an actual home key, which means the on screen buttons remain, I can't see any indication of light up keys flanking that ugly creature. Gotta stay away from the white in this model, hides the scanner better.

i actually think this is the moto x as there is a video out that shows a low resolution moto Without a finger print reader so there are clearly two different devices out there

This used to be such a premier, premium American brand. They were the creators of the cell phones, and no one made better portable radios for police and fire. Now in the hands of foreigners, is merely a shadow of its former self; just more cheap junk, is such a shame. Damn you Google, for selling out.
