Motorola will livestream its July 28 event: new Moto X and Moto G incoming
Last week, Motorola unveiled that it would host an event on July 28, suggesting that it's going to announce new Moto X and Moto G smartphones on that day. The event will take place simultaneously in three major cities across the globe: New York City, Sao Paulo (Brazil), and London (UK).

Motorola fans should be happy to find out that the event will be livestreamed starting 9 AM Eastern Time. Thus, everyone will be able to see how Motorola will (most likely) officially announce the Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015), and possibly also a new Moto Droid.

Both the third-gen Moto X and third-gen Moto G will unsurprisingly bring improvements over the Moto X (2014) and Moto G (2014). For example, the new Moto X is expected to feature a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and a front-facing camera with flash. The new Moto G should come with a water-resistant body, LTE, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the third-gen Moto G will be compatible with MotoMaker. Leaked images showing both new upcoming handsets can be seen below.

Unless they do something impressive this time I see no reason to be hyped.

Motorola could end world hunger, produce a clean and sustainable energy source to meet all of humanity's needs for the next 100 years, and discover advanced civilizations living on a far off planet and you wouldn't be impressed. You just hate Motorola because you're a tool looking for something to troll.

I am going to be very disappointed if they don't introduce a new 360 as well.

I've been waiting for the 2nd generation 360 as well. I wanted the first one, but thought I would wait for the 2nd to get all of the kinks worked out (like the black band across the bottom of the screen)

i sold my LG G4 to get back to the Moto G. You might think i'm crazy, but - apart from the back camera - there's nothing that has more value than a Moto G. No other phone is so much better that it would cost 3 to 4 times more!

Would buying a Motorola count as being a Chinese phone, now that it is a subsidiary of Lenovo?

If Apple is Chinese then so will be Motorola. Both are American companies. Both design and engineer devices in USA and both are manufactured in China. So it's your choice...

I hope the Moto Sport rumors hold true. Love my S6 Active but would just to Moto if it is done right!
