Motorola announces Cyber Monday deals, including Moto X starting at $359

Motorola just announced that its customers in the US and Europe will be able to buy the second-generation Moto X at discounted prices on Cyber Monday (December 1).

An unlocked Moto X will start at $359 - down from $499 (the current price). In addition to this $140 discount for the off-contract Moto X, Verizon customers will have the chance to get the handset for as low as $0.01 on contract, instead of $119. Moreover, anyone who buys a new Moto X will get 30% off any accessories.

While the Moto X may not be the most coveted flagship smartphone right now, $359 for an off-contract unit is definitely a great deal - especially since the highly-customizable handset is among the first in the world to be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Cyber Monday offers will be available only directly from Motorola at the source link below. You’ll have to register there on Monday in order to receive “a unique promotional code to seal the deal.” So, who’s planning to get a new Moto X this Monday?

PA articles on the Moto X 2nd Gen. seem very indifferent. this is totally one of the best Android phones to get. my girlfriend might upgrade her 1st gen Moto X for this but we're also considering an iPhone 6 since she won't let go of her iPod Touch and i don't want to upgrade her iPod Touch to a 5th gen which is just too old now and getting her a Shield Tablet to supplement it. this is the phone to get if you want an upgraded Nexus 5 for the most part.

That is a good deal. Better phone than the Nexus 5 for the money.
