Motorola DROID X stands side-by-side with the HTC EVO 4, iPhone, & Droid Eris
Just when we were all beginning to think that the HTC EVO 4G was one of the biggest handset out there on the market when it comes to overall dimensions. Out comes the handful of leaked images of the Motorola DROID X which provided us some indication of its girth, but now we're getting a good idea of how it stacks against some of the current competition. The Motorola DROID X was recently found in a photo lineup with other handsets like the HTC EVO 4G, iPhone, and Droid Eris. So far from all of the rumors and leaks, it's expected that the DROID X will be packing a 4.3” display, but it's clearly visible that the handset is somewhat just slightly larger than the EVO 4G. Just when our hands were getting adjusted to the mammoth size of the EVO 4G, now it's looking to be challenged yet again by another behemoth. The last thing that can be seen in one of the images is the “Shadow BLUR” interface and a couple of the newer widgets associated to it.

Wondering why the Eris in in that pic, and what that is on the screen (have never seen that on my Eris before, an app maybe?)

Lets be realistic and futureistic. This is a quote from popsci, " In two years peoples desk top computers will consist of a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a smart phone for the hard drive." The way phones are evolving it won't be to long before this is true. I guess some people don't think out side the box.

Honestly, the widgets for the Shadow Blur don't seem nearly as nice as the HTC Sense. Perhaps there's some others that stack up to it though that aren't shown.

That would be nice but I just like to use stock and I think you can take blur off

Shit, I need a spare battery for my Droid... I'll need two for this phone and it will be worth every penny.

I am getting the new iphone 4, but I do love phones and this phone is amazing. I can't believe that this phone looks good like this ...whoever motorola hired as designer surely got their money's worth. The only thing is the battery life...why don't they advance battery life with screens....1300 is not going to work, 1800 should be perfect

Um-mm? I think I will stick with the HTC Droid Incredible. This phone looks like a giant chocolate bar. Plus the Droid Incredible is more attractive looking. I need a new cell phone not a home phone. :|

Need? Quite frankly, you don't "need" a cell phone. There are people in this country who need food, water, clothing. I'm not so sure they would agree that a cell phone will keep them breathing.

Some people don't have internet access along with no food, clothes etc... However you felt you "needed" to put someone down. You could have fed an entire village in Africa with your 1 months cost of internet. So if you feel that strongly about it cancel your internet. Give up all your luxuries in life and go do something about it. Or were you just in a bad mood when you made this comment and you don't really give a crap about those people???

Yo! Three Douch Bags! What the f*** are ya'll talking about? I was clearly talking about the size of the Motorola Droid X and how it was to big compared to the Droid incredible. In which ya'll talk about, I think you three a holes are on the wrong page. And last I support the homeless and wasn't trying to put anyone down. If you felt offended then I'm sorry. Read & listen before you write.

you need to be calling the first guy an a-hole for trying to put you down. next time read the post in its entirety. at the bottom it says "This comment is posted in response to #13" Fah-Q!

Well well. How funny. I used the library silly one, so I don't pay for internet. I was really just making an example of how spoiled we are. Some people automatically feel entitled to something like a cell phone, same with internet. Just pointing out the obvious.

What's obvious is that you're a putz whose overly-developed sense of self-importance is predicated on the false premise that you are somehow more enlightened than most and have some duty to mankind to point out its failings. Making a comment like yours in a forum like this is misplaced and stupid. If you really want an audience who might give a lick, go find a hookah bar with a bunch of Jim Morrision wannabes in t-shirts and wool hats.
