Modeo unveils its DVB-H equipped smartphone
Modeo has demonstrated its Windows Mobile 5.0-powered smartphone at this year's CTIA Wireless tradeshow in Las Vegas. The device, manufactured by HTC, is equipped with DVB-H technology, which enables users to watch digital video broadcasts. It comes with an 1150 mAH lithium-ion battery, allowing up to three hours of TV viewing. It is a quad-band GSM phone with a sleek, lightweight candybar design. The main features include:

- 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture
- GPRS/EDGE high-speed data
- 128 MB Flash ROM; 64 MB SDRAM
- microSD memory expansion slot
- 200 Mhz OMAP processor

The Modeo DVB-H smartphone is expected to hit the market during the second half of 2006. Modeo plans to launch its DVB-H mobile broadcast network in select major U.S. markets later this year.
