Make your own ringtone with Microsoft's new app fresh out of beta, and now in the Windows Store
A new app from Microsoft called Ringtone Maker for Windows 10 Mobile is now out of beta after months of testing, and is available in the Windows Store. The app allows you to turn part of a song into a ringtone or notification alert for your Windows 10 Mobile handset. You can edit the song anyway you like, choosing the start and end of the song. You can also customize the length of your new ringtone/notification alert.

The app is said to be easy to use, and while there aren't any spectacular features, the Ringtone Maker for Windows 10 Mobile does live up to its name. The app is a free download in the Windows Store, and weighs in at 3.52MB. If you want to have a kick-ass, rockin' ringtone that makes everyone look your way each time you get a call, on your Windows 10 Mobile phone. click on the sourcelink to install the app.

Meanwhile, we do have some screenshots of the app to show you. All view them, all you need to do is click on the slideshow below.

Actually, is this the first ringtone cutter app in windows appstore? (If so, then windows appstore must be pathetic). Or did it gain attention just because it is microsoft app?

No, it's just that iPhonearena has absolutely no idea about anything to do with Windows Phone, and can't be bothered to actually put in the research for their articles. Ringtone Maker has existed for years on WP8 and the app still functioned on W10M. Microsoft has just replaced the app with a newer one that is built for Windows 10. There are also many third party apps that can create ringtones from music files.
