Latest Pokemon GO update fixes vibration notification bug

10comments

The team at Niantic has been delivering updates for their Pokemon GO smash hit almost on a weekly basis, so it's no surprise that we've just got a new one.

This time it's mostly about bug fixes, as Niantic points out in a post on Facebook, so don't expect any major new features to be implemented in the update.

However, that doesn't mean that it's not important. As some of you might have already noticed, a bug that caused incorrect vibration notifications was affecting Pokemon GO for quite a while.

Niantic promised less than two weeks ago to provide players on both Android and iOS platforms with a fix, and today the company has delivered.

Update version 0.51.0 for Android and 1.21.0 for iOS devices patches the bug that caused incorrect vibration notifications. Aside from that, the official changelog mentions that some minor text fixes have been added too.

Also, Niantic implemented some changes to the day and night modes to more accurately reflect the Trainer's current time of day.

The update seems to have already made its way in the Google Play store and App Store, so you can go ahead and download it to benefit from the latest improvements.
