LG promotes the QuickWindow case for the LG G2 with new video
The LG G2 is one of the most eagerly awaited Android handsets for the second half of the year. A 5.2 inch screen, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM are some of the specs on the phone that make it a top-shelf model. And with top-shelf models come top-shelf accessories. Just before July came to an end, the Korean OEM announced a flip-cover type case for its new Android flagship that it calls the QuickWindow case

As we've already told you, the QuickWindow is similar to the S View Cover that Samsung offers for its Android flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S4. The idea behind both Sammy's cover and LG's QuickWindow is that on both, an opening reveals information like the time and date. LG's Quick Window includes weather information, incoming calls, messages, etc. You can also control your music from the window as well as set and stop an alarm clock. There is also a number of sweet looking analog clock designs you can choose from.

LG is expected to introduce the LG G2 during its international media event scheduled for August 7th. Perhaps then we will learn the pricing for the QuickWindow case as LG has already announced that the accessory will be available in black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint, and yellow. Check out more about the case by clicking on the video below.

Thanks, Anonymous Tipster!

I agree it seems a bit pointless on a LCD screen. This is actually one of the reasons I like amoled. NoLed was one of the first apps when I had the S3...

But a well calibrated LCD has its own advantages... specially during web browsing, where most amoled are battery hogs

Seriously, this "copy' thing is getting old and ridiculous. Why is everyone complaining about LG copy Samsung?

A clear case of jealousy.

Such window design was originally made from LG.
Why you sammy always think samsung is the original creator?

The Spectrum 2 on Verizon had a case with a smart window which came out when the GS3 did. Don't get it twisted, I think Samsung was the one copying this time around.
