Report tips release and price range for LG's new Sport and Style smartwatches

LG has apparently taken to Korean media, and tipped that it is indeed launching a new Wear OS smartwatch, codenamed LM-W315, just as its recent passing by the FCC suggested. Now, we didn't get any press release just yet, but the timepiece will allegedly be official under LG's Sport and Style model name lines.

There were rumors about this one before, and they are seemingly confirmed, at least in the part that the wearable will feature a 1.2" display with carousel navigation. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 2100 platform for smart gizmos will be making it tick, as will 768MB RAM, and you get 4GB of internal memory - pretty goods as far as watches go. The new LG watch is said to be IP68-rated for water resistance, too.

Most of this stuff we had already heard, so what's new in the report? Well, cellular connectivity, GPS, and NFC are indeed not going to be present, but LG is still planning to ask $300-$400 for its upcoming timepieces, depending on the model. The watches are eventually going to be released in two colors, Aurora Black and Cloud Silver, and there is still plenty of time until the end of the month, so we should know more soon.
