LG V20 specs leak claims dual 16 MP camera and 4000 mAh battery

It won't be long before LG lifts the veil from the second edition of its V-line of phablets, the V20. In fact, there is an announcement event scheduled for tomorrow, and LG promises that the V20 would sport "the best video and audio experience." How is LG going to achieve that feat?

Well, if the latest specs leak from the vast savannas of the Chinese tech blogosphere are to be believed, it will sport a quality ESS audio DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that will bring in the promised 32-bit sound, as well as a dual 16 MP camera combo on the rear. The rest of the specs are pretty much par for the course for a seasonal flagship, namely a 5.7" Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, and four gigs of RAM. Where this specs sheet manages to surprise us, however, is the claimed 4000 mAh battery capacity.

LG is no stranger to large batteries, as it recently outed the X Power that blasted to the top of our battery benchmarks, but equipping a flagship with such a huge unit is a rarity, if we don't count Samsung's "Active" line that is exclusive to AT&T. We'll be covering the V20 launch event tomorrow, so stay tuned for an official confirmation on the actual battery capacity. The phone is expected to cost north of $600, and have a release date of September 23.

As per my knowledge, only the G4 suffered from bootloop, because of a hardware defect.

the g4 and the v10 had it in massive numbers because of a hardware problem since they share the same motherboard , the G5 some small number of units faced the issue

My G3 had bootloop issue and it was cured when I exchanged the battery with my cousin. My battery worked fine on his phone and his battery worked fine on my phone. My father's Optimus G Pro had bootloop issue and it was fixed when I replaced the battery.

I had 2 G3's that both bootlooped with the factory battery. They seem to be sensitive to the type of battery, because I had 3 oem batteries and they all bootlooped, but when I used an Anker battery they both worked perfectly.

2X 16MPx, or 16MPx and 8MPx same G5? or 16MPx and 20MPx? And 4000mAh is very very good. Nice LG.

This is LG's chance to success after Note 7 fiasco. This is the best opportunity they have to increase sales. Fix the bootloop issue and no hardware or performance proble.

I want an option for lg v20 to turn off the upper secondary display with matching display resolution adjusment just to maximize the battery on an lcd display. Oh and I hope lg v20 is compact and almost bezel less as s7 edge no need to up the camera so much since lg always do great cameras.

Don't get your hopes up. The battery is a 3200 mAh battery. It's not going to have a 4000 mAh battery.

Don't think I would but another LG phone, 2 weeks ago my V10 started boot loading. Returned it for another one after only 8 months. Another thing is that it gets hot after a short time of use. Like the removable battery and the sd slot.
