Kansas City & Washington DC openly greets Sprint's 4G service
With a few days until the HTC EVO 4G spreads its wings with a nationwide roll out, two markets are getting the green light for Sprint's 4G WiMAX service while another one is branching out to cover more people under its grasp. Both Kansas City and Washington DC are now feeling the love with 4G speeds as Clearwire and Sprint announced today the launch of the next generation high speed data network. Employees at Sprint's corporate headquarters can now experience first hand what all the talk is about in their commercials. On the other hand, WiMAX goodness is now available to approximately 1 million people around the greater Washington DC area – neighboring areas can also feel the love. Finally, Baltimore is receiving additional coverage as the next generation data network can now be reached by roughly 1.7 million people. Fittingly this announcement comes just in time for the HTC EVO 4G, but now customers in those areas can go ahead and look forward to faster data speeds when they go out and buy the HTC EVO 4G.
