Is LeTV strictly keeping to its bezel-less smartphone design? Latest leak suggests otherwise
We are awaiting Chinese entertainment empire LeTV's April 14 announcement with great interest, as the company has been touting a smartphone with remarkably thin side screen bezels. But now, it appears that the bezel-deprived Android smartphone won't be the event's sole centerpiece.
We get to learn that LeTV actually has two smartphones in the pipeline, carrying the model numbers X600 and X900. The former is described as a more affordable model, while the latter is supposed to be a high-end device. This piece of info is accompanied by a photo of a smartphone that looks just like the one we've seen previously, only with a tolerable dose of side screen bezels included.
This leads us to the conclusion that the LeTV X600 will keep the screen frames and serve the average user, while the X900 is designed to get people talking with its nearly bezel-less facade. Seems fairly logical, no? Well, it's more logical than comparing Apple with Hitler, at the very least!
Bezels or no bezels, we do like LeTV's minimalist approach to design, although an impressive look is always more interesting to talk about. We'll see how the X600 (first image) and X900 (rest of the images) smartphones have turned out next Tuesday, but for now, we're still keeping our eyes on the X900 and its razor-thin sides.
