According to a report out of Russia, it seems that Instagram is working on a feature that will allow users to stream and view live video from the app. Instagram would join other apps like Periscope, Facebook and Snapchat, all of which offer a similar feature. T Journal, a Russian news agency, discovered the live streaming video capabilities inside the Instagram Stories section of the Android beta version of the Instagram app.

Tapping the button with the "Live" banner at the top of the Instagram Stories section goes to a page called "Live Broadcasts." On the camera screen, a new button reads "Go Insta!," which could indicate what the name of the feature will be called.

Instagram is owned by Facebook, which itself has added live video streaming for its subscribers. So far, there has been no word from the photo/video sharing application about when live streaming video might debut. Keep in mind that so far the evidence that this is indeed coming to Instagram, has been found only on the Russian version of the Android beta app.
