Huawei intros the Honor Holly, a new and cheap 5-inch Android smartphone
Huawei has a brand new Honor smartphone which, as of this week, will be available to buy in India. Called Huawei Honor Holly, the handset will go on sale on October 16 in India, and we assume that it’s going to be released in other markets, too, in the near future.

Although it’s about as large as the high-end Honor 6, sporting a 5-inch display, the Honor Holly doesn’t offer advanced features, instead being a mid-range device made for customers who can’t afford to pay too much for a smartphone.

The Honor Holly costs just 6,999 INR (about $114), thus being capable of competing, price-wise, with any of the Android One handsets that were released in India not long ago, as well as with Motorola’s Moto E, or Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, Huawei’s new smartphone features dual SIM capabilities, an 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, and a 2000 mAh battery. As for the 5-inch display that we mentioned earlier, this is an IPS one with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution.
