HTC Excalibur - new QWERTY smartphone

Having in mind the picture and the specs and features, the new HTC codenamed Excalibur is expected to be the HTC's rival of the Motorola Q and Samsung i320. It's said to be just a little thicker than the i320, but two millimeters shorter. It will feature an innovative scrolling strip, placed to the right of the screen, resembling the scroll on Pocket PC phones with touch display. The “touch jog strip” will act upon sliding your finger up and down and the screen will respectively scroll up or down. It will also activate the Start menu if only touched at the top, and act as a “go back” button is touched at the bottom. The smartphone will be a quad-band device and unlike Moto Q and i320 will feature Wi-Fi.

Update: First real photo has surfaced. EngadgetMobile confirm that WiFi is supported, and there's a hint that the smartphone will be launched with T-Mobile (but it's not certain whether it is the American or European), according to the theme of the phone in the picture.
