Google plans on having an OTA fix for the Nexus One
It takes a lot for someone to accept fault for their actions – sometimes it can be considered as a noble thing to do. With the 3G connection problems plaguing some HTC Nexus One handsets, Google set out to figure out what is causing the issue. Recently a Google employee updated affected owners with some information over at the Google Support Forums. The issue doesn’t stem at just T-Mobile’s 3G network, but it seems that it could be related to a software component that is causing the 3G connectivity issues. They’re hard at work right now mustering up and testing a fix which is expected to be an OTA update – they’re hopeful in making it available in the next week or so. Showing some humility can really show some genuine intentions – Google isn’t going around the bush with this one anymore.
