No matter how much the trolls love to hate it amongst other things, the essential is still a great phone at it's current price. To me, it's the Nexus Google should have made.

You fanboys might realize, that when someone is criticizing it's not hate. You can't really hate something that has something like 0,01% of the market. The Essential phone is great for it's price, BUT that does not change the thing, that many aspects are just plain stupid oversights. Camera is bad, video recoring is bad, audio recording is bad, no headphone jack is bad, that new "hifi" addon is just a joke, notch on a screen etc. Not a bad phone, not a great one either.

Feel bad for Essential Team, fall on the face with first try. It is not bad phone, just too bad their timing is not right, cone out when all chinese phone getting better and great price.

not sure where you've checked then. they stopped working on a new device but that doesn't mean they instantly gave up on their first one
