Deal: Unlocked LG G6+ drops to just $400 on Amazon
The unlocked version of LG G6+ has been selling in the United States through Amazon for a long time now. Its priced dropped from almost $700 to just $500 after less than a year, but for a limited time, customers can score a slightly better deal on LG's flagship.

Amazon is running another sale on the LG G6+ (US variant), so everyone can purchase one for just $400, down from $525. What's really interesting about the deal is that Amazon offers the standard version of LG G6+ for a lower price than the Prime Exclusive model.

The LG G6+ is quite decent when it comes to specs, it comes with Hi-Fi Quad DAC and QuadPlay headphones (included in the box), which should provide top-of-the-line audio quality and clarity. Unlike the standard LG G6, the Plus model includes 128GB storage.

It's true that it features an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, but other than that it's on par with many flagships available on the market: 5.7-inch QHD FullVision display, 4GB RAM, dual rear camera (13MP+13MP), and 3,300 mAh battery.

Another benefit over many other unlocked flagships selling in the US is the fact that it works on any network in the country, GSM and CDMA.

LG should just give up on mobile. They have no direction, no clear flagship, and I can't figure out which device is which since they have multiple devices with similar sounding names released in close proximity to each other. I don't understand why they didn't release the G6+ in the first place with the regular G6. I think LG needs to stop what they are doing and reevaluate themselves. Ever since the V20, they have been lost. I don't know what the fudge they were doing with the G5.

I think this was a Sprint exclusive initially, but Amazon is pushing it as it's their own partnership.

Agreed... Out of all of my previous phones I owned in the past 6 years, I'd say the LG G3 was the worst phone I ever owned...... The phone ran warm all the time, The SOT on the OEM battery would last little more than 2 hours, I literally had to buy a bigger battery to get decent battery life. Android Lolipop and Marshmallow ran like crap on it...... I think LG should just sell off their mobile divison

And for that, you get a 2 year old processor...

The LG G6 is a great phone. Sounds like the G6+ packs in more for a great price.
