Deal: Unlocked Google Pixel and Pixel XL are now cheaper than ever

Starting today, August 6, if you visit Google's Store in the US, you can buy an unlocked Pixel smartphone for $125 off, or an unlocked Pixel XL for $200 off. These price cuts are available for both the 32 GB, and 128 GB versions of the two handsets.

Here are the new prices of Google's phones by model:

  • Google Pixel 32 GB - $524 (instead of $649)
  • Google Pixel 128 GB - $624 (instead of $749)
  • Google Pixel XL 32 GB - $569 (instead of $769)
  • Google Pixel XL 128 GB - $669 (instead of $869)
What's more, you're also getting a free Daydream View VR headset (normally priced at $79) from Google - you'll just need to add it to your cart alongside a Pixel or Pixel XL.

Google does not say if this is a permanent price cut, or a limited time offer. In any case, with a Pixel 2 and a Pixel XL 2 coming later this year (maybe as soon as October), we're not surprised to see last year's Pixel smartphones now being cheaper than ever.

It depends on how post #1 said I that. Whether as an opinion or as a fact.

That's still a crazy ass price for a phone that's about the be replaced. Hell $669 for the XL and that is the price the Galaxy S7 was the day it was released. I always wanted the Pixel XL but this post reminded me of why I have a OnePlus 3T instead.

The Google Pixel is one ugly phone. It is missing several key features that most android flagship phones come with. The LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 are much better choices.

Still too expensive. PA can you compare this to price cuts recently made for S8/+?

iToy clone, with huge bezels, pathetic design, underclock cpu, lens flare? No thanks, S8 destroy this crap. Pixel 2 XL will be the first amazing google phone.
