CyanogenMod 11.0 M8 - out today
At the time of writing this article, the CyanogenMod downloads page is churning out the ROMs of the mod's latest snapshot – 11.0 M8. Currently, there is support for 28 devices, notably the Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Google Nexus 5, Xiaomi Mi2, Oppo Find 7A and OnePlus One. Support for more devices is going to increase to around 80 (including the Sony Xperia Z2, according to the changelog) throughout the month.

CyanogenMod 11.0 M8 is making a move to Android 4.4.4 and brings some new features - notably the VPN fixes, custom home-screen grid sizes and the"Heads-up" notifications – floating cards that appear above whatever you are doing. The mod adds a useful Do Not Disturb function - you can select the specific apps that you don’t want interrupted by notifications. (For alternate methods to get "Heads-up" on your 4.0+ device – check this article)
