Cingular to become AT&T on Monday

AT&T

AT&T announced its plans to rename US biggest carrier a week and a half ago, and it seems they will start doing it on Monday - Jan 15. Cingular brand will not be directly replaced by the AT&T one, but there will be (still unknown) period of time using dual Cingular (AT&T) branding, until the AT&T brand name gains popularity as the cellphone carrier’s name, and then it will remain alone.
