Apple's Olympics ad debuted last night. Part of the Shot on iPhone campaign, the ad is titled "The Human Family" and is voiced by poet Maya Angelou. While she reads her poem, the screen shows a number of submissions Apple has received for its photography based ads and billboards. The poem is perfect for the Olympics where athletes from so many different countries compete.

Speaking of the Olympics, Apple has devoted a special section of the App Store to the Rio 2016 games. There are five apps available including the official Olympics app which includes news, highlights, results and records. The Rio 2016 app includes the official schedule, real-time results and the medal count. Made for those competing in the games, the Olympic Athletes' Hub gives Olympic athletes a way to connect to each other.

The remaining two apps are games. One contains six fast-action mini games. The other lets you run through beaches as Vinicius, the official mascot of the 2016 Olympics. All five apps are free.
