Beats Music halts registration to its music streaming service after demand swamps the company
Beats Music has temporarily halted registration to its new streaming music site after getting swamped by demand from those wishing to subscribe to the service. Beats said that it will give those who sign up once the service re-opens, an extra trial week. The company also said that it had prepared for situations like this, so it was able to quickly put a plan into action.

Right now, those who try to subscribe to the service are met with a 404 Error message. Beats Music says that it does not yet have a date when it will resume accepting new subscribers. The service started on Tuesday and offers streaming tunes to those paying $9.99 a month. The service has a library of 20 million tunes which can be listened to both on and offline.

Beats Music can use your current location and the people you're with, to stream songs perfectly matched for the occasion. You can also choose the genre of music you like the best along with your favorite artists. And if you feel like turning over music selection to the curators, you can do that too. All of this takes place without any ads.

Unfortunately, unless you managed to sneak in before Beats Music decided to freeze registrations, you will have to depend on your current music streamer until Beats Music broadcasts the all-clear signal and says that it once again is accepting new subscribers.
