Earlier today, Asus wrote history by unveiling the world's first smartphone to come with 4GB of RAM
on board (in the more expensive variation of the phone
, that is), surpassing all of the big players in the industry. Apart from that extremely potent RAM tally, the Zenfone 2 has some other features up its sleeve that make it a worthy improvement over Asus' previous Zenfone offerings, the Zenfone 4
, 5, and 6, which had pretty similar hardware setups but different display sizes.
As a refresher, the Zenfone 2 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 silicon powerhouse that can reach clock speed of up to 2.33GHz, a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP one up front, 64GB of built-in storage, a 3,000mAh juicer, and a duet of SIM card slots aboard.
Bear with us as we explore the improvements the Zenfone bears over the original Zenfone offerings in the gallery below.
