Apple's iPhone X is on sale at a very reasonable price in a 256GB refurbished variant
Apple's first "all-screen" mobile device with 3D facial recognition technology is already more than two years old, and even though it has technically been discontinued just 12 months after its commercial debut, the iPhone X can still be purchased from major third-party retailers like Best Buy and top-rated eBay sellers.

If you don't trust the latter category of refurbished and used gadget vendors, shopping at Woot can be a great idea when the Amazon-owned e-tailer runs its popular one-day-only sales on devices like the iPhone X. One such deal brings the 5.8-incher's price down to $599.99 in a 256GB storage variant currently sold by Apple for as much as $809 in certified refurbished condition.

Of course, the Cupertino-based smartphone manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty with its refurbs, which are thoroughly cleaned, professionally inspected, and restored to like-new condition, including a brand-new battery and outer shell. In contrast, Woot can only give you a 90-day warranty, while warning its refurbished items are "expected to have a moderate level of wear & tear including (but not limited to) scratches, dents, and dings."

Still, the iPhone X units on sale today only at six Benjamins a pop are guaranteed to be in "full working condition." If you don't mind the aforementioned compromises in pursuit of a massive $209 discount compared to Apple's certified refurbished price, you should know Woot lets you choose between silver and space gray paint jobs, as well as GSM only and fully unlocked variants.

The list of the iPhone X's specs and features is pretty solid, even by today's high-end standards, including a beautiful "Super Retina" OLED display with a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels, a relatively powerful Apple A11 Bionic processor, a versatile dual 12MP rear-facing camera system, stellar battery life, speedy and reliable Face ID authentication, and IP67 water resistance. Not bad for 600 bucks in a digital hoarding-friendly configuration, eh?
