Apple releases watchOS 3.1.3 Beta 2 to developers
Apple today released the second beta version of watchOS 3.1.3 to developers. If you have registered as a developer, you can download the update by using the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Simply go to General --> Software Update. To install the Beta, the Apple Watch must be at least 50% charged, and needs to be in its charging dock; the iPhone that the watch is paired with must be within range. In addition, this particular iPhone must be running iOS 10 or higher.

No major changes are expected to come with Beta 2 of watchOS 3.1.3. Instead, the update most likely exterminates some bugs and enhances some features. The first beta of watchOS 3.1.3, which was disseminated three weeks ago, also appeared to bring no big changes to the operating system for the Apple Watch.

Those with the Apple Watch Series 2 might be following these updates closely. The watchOS 3.1.1 update bricked several Series 2 timepieces, and these units could not be repaired in stores. Apple pulled the update from its servers leaving many with the Series 2 Apple Watch stuck at watchOS 3.1.

So you have to be 50% charged and on the dock, to update? How lame is that? Samsung Gears can al be updated while you're wearing them and they don't have to be 50% charged. Gosh that is so lame and then its a featureless update. Why? Because its lame hardware doesnt have any features, so there nothing to add unless its software based features. Not only did the Gear S2 get updated, it got new features. Including being able to directly download updates for apps right from the watch. All devs have to do is add the feature to their apps and provide a server address for downloading. The Apple Watch soles relies on the iphone, making it nothing more than an accessory, like the original Gear was. But since the Apple Watch was released 2 years after the orginal Gear, why is it not even better. They are basically both equal garbage. For $350 it should be at least what the Gear S is. It should have BT, WiFi, 3G/4G and more; and it doesn't. This update is just useless. How can something so limited have such terrible battery life? Yet the Gear S3 does more and last a full 2 days and maybe more for some.

As usual a stupid comment. All the reviews said that the series 2 put the Apple Watch as the best in the market. So your comment has no sense.
