Another Samsung Galaxy S8 teaser hints at one of its authentication features

A new Galaxy S8 teaser has just been outed from Samsung's oven. This would be the third short ad that will be aired in South Korea ahead of the Galaxy S8's official reveal set for March 29.

Unlike the previous ones, the new teaser hasn't been uploaded on YouTube yet, but it's been published on the number one Korean ad portal so that everyone can watch it.

The short teaser seems to highlight one of the important features that will be packed inside the Galaxy S8: iris recognition. An individual positioned in the middle of a maze is filmed from above showing us what appears to be a human eye.

The circular maze is made to look like the pupil of the eye. We can't think of another feature included in the Galaxy S8 that would take advantage of the eye other than the iris scanner on the front side of the phone.

Just like the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung's upcoming flagship will come equipped with two authentication methods: fingerprint and iris scanners. However, while the iris scanner will be positioned above the display, Samsung has decided to put the fingerprint reader on the back side next to the camera.

You'll also recognize the sexy silhouette of the smartphone at the end of the teaser, along with the big “8” number in the middle of it. We ran the name of the teaser through Google's translation tool and got the following result: “Samsung Galaxy: Completion and new start maze.”
