Android 5.0 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy Note II confirmed again
Back in December, we told you that Samsung Finland had added the Galaxy Note II to the list of devices upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Now, Samsung Poland is also confirming, via Twitter, that the handset (which was originally released back in 2012) would be updated to Lollipop. However, it's not clear exactly when this is supposed to happen, though we assume that Samsung is planning to roll out the update in the following months.

Meanwhile, Samsung Finland hasn't changed its mind, still showing on its website that Lollipop is indeed coming to the venerable Note II - so we have two official sources that are confirming the update. Since the US variants of the Note II use the same Exynos 4412 Quad processor as the European models, we're obviously expecting the handset to get Lollipop in the US, too. Of course, exact timing will be carrier dependent.

In September, the Galaxy Note II will be 3 years old, so it's quite awesome that Samsung isn't forgetting about it. We'll keep an eye on this, and let you know when the Lollipop update for the handset is ready.
